Frequently asked questions

What size is A4 paper? A4 is 210 x 297 mm, or 8.3 x 11.7 inches, or 2480 x 3508 pixels at 300 DPI. It is the standard document size in most of the world.

What is the difference between Letter and A4? US Letter (216 x 279 mm / 8.5 x 11 in) is a bit wider and shorter than A4 (210 x 297 mm). Letter is standard in North America; A4 almost everywhere else.

What size is legal paper? US Legal paper is 216 x 356 mm, or 8.5 x 14 inches, three inches longer than Letter.
