Terms of Use

1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, accessing, or using the Cleanor mobile application (the “App”), operated by Cleanor Research Labs LLC-FZ (“we,” “our,” or “us”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use (“Terms”). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the App.

These Terms apply to the App, to the cleanor.app website, and to all tools, features, content, downloads, and files we make available or that are generated through them, including our browser-based tools and any documents, forms, calendars, charts, or other outputs they produce (together, the “Services”). References to the “App” in these Terms include the Services where the context permits.

2. License

We grant you a revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable, limited license to download, install, and use the App strictly for your personal, non-commercial purposes on devices owned or controlled by you, strictly in accordance with the terms of this agreement.

3. Subscription & Payments

3.1. Premium Features. Certain features of the App (“Premium Features”) may require a paid subscription. These features may include unlimited cleaning, detailed media analysis, and other advanced tools.

3.2. Store billing. When you subscribe through the Apple App Store or Google Play, payment will be charged to your App Store or Google Play account at confirmation of purchase. Subscriptions automatically renew unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period. You can manage your subscriptions and turn off auto-renewal in your App Store or Google Play account settings after purchase. Any unused portion of a free trial period, if offered, will be forfeited when you purchase a subscription, where applicable.

3.3. Website billing. We also accept payments directly on cleanor.app. When you purchase on our website, billing is handled by our website payment provider, and your subscription renews automatically until you cancel. We do not store your full payment card details. You can cancel a website subscription by contacting us or, where available, through your account settings.

4. Refunds

For purchases made directly on cleanor.app, refund and billing requests are handled by us. You can request a refund by emailing support@cleanor.app or by submitting our support form, subject to our Refund Policy.

For purchases made in the Apple App Store or Google Play, refunds are managed by Apple or Google. Because we do not process or control store payments, refunds for those purchases must be requested through Apple or Google support.

5. User Responsibility

Data Backup. You acknowledge that the App allows you to delete content (photos, videos, contacts, events) from your device. You are solely responsible for ensuring you have backups of any important data before using the cleaning functions.

Liability. Cleanor and Cleanor Research Labs LLC-FZ are not responsible for any accidental loss of data resulting from your use of the App. Deleted items typically go to the “Recently Deleted” album in Photos (for media) or are removed permanently (for contacts/calendar), depending on iOS behavior.

6. Prohibited Uses

You agree not to use the App for any illegal purpose or in violation of any local, state, national, or international law.

You agree not to reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, or attempt to discover the source code of the App.

You agree not to remove, alter, or obscure any proprietary notice, including copyright and trademark notices, of the App.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties (“As Is”, Use at Your Own Risk)

Your access to and use of the Services is at your sole risk. The Services, including the App, the cleanor.app website, all browser-based tools, and any files, documents, forms, calendars, charts, or other outputs generated through them, are provided on an “AS IS” and “AS AVAILABLE” basis, with all faults and without warranties of any kind.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Cleanor Research Labs LLC-FZ disclaims all warranties, representations, and conditions, whether express, implied, statutory, or otherwise, including the implied warranties or conditions of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, and non-infringement, as well as any warranties arising from course of dealing or usage of trade. We do not warrant that the Services will be error-free, uninterrupted, secure, accurate, or complete, or that any defects will be corrected.

Any output generated by the Services (including documents, tax and legal forms such as IRS Form W-9, templates, calendars, and reference charts) is provided for your convenience only and does not constitute legal, tax, financial, medical, or other professional advice. You are solely responsible for reviewing, verifying, and confirming the accuracy and suitability of any output, and for compliance with any applicable requirements, before relying on it or submitting it to any third party or authority.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, in no event shall Cleanor Research Labs LLC-FZ, its owners, employees, or suppliers be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, arising out of or relating to these Terms or your access to, use of, or inability to use the Services, whether based in contract, tort (including negligence), strict liability, or any other legal theory, and whether or not we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, our total aggregate liability for all claims arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Services shall not exceed the total amount you actually paid to us for the applicable subscription during the twelve (12) months immediately preceding the event giving rise to the claim. Where you have not paid us anything for the Services (for example, features offered free of charge), our total aggregate liability shall not exceed fifty US dollars (US$50).

These limitations apply to all claims in the aggregate and to any conduct or content of any third party on or through the Services. Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties or the exclusion or limitation of liability for certain damages; in those jurisdictions, our liability is limited to the greatest extent permitted by law.

9. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and defined following the laws of the jurisdiction where Cleanor Research Labs LLC-FZ is registered, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

10. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to modify or replace these Terms at any time. By continuing to access or use our App after those revisions become effective, you agree to be bound by the revised terms.
