LegalPrivacy Policy
Effective April 11, 2026. This policy explains how Cleanor Research Labs L.L.C-FZ accesses, uses, stores, shares, protects, and deletes data across cleanor.app and the iOS and Android apps that link to this page.
1. Who this policy covers
Cleanor Research Labs L.L.C-FZ ("we", "us", "our") operates cleanor.app and related mobile products, including Cleanor for iPhone, Cleanor for Android, and other apps we publish for iOS and Android.
This Privacy Policy applies to our official website on cleanor.app, our app landing pages, and the mobile apps and services that link to this policy.
This policy is hosted on our official domain, cleanor.app, and is intended to be clearly associated with our products and organization.
2. Company details and contact
Controller: Cleanor Research Labs L.L.C-FZ.
Registered location: Meydan Free Zone, Dubai, United Arab Emirates.
Privacy and support contact: support@cleanor.app.
3. Data we collect
We may collect account and sign-in data when you create or use an account, including email address, display name, account identifier, sign-in provider, and authentication metadata.
We may collect app and website usage data, crash data, diagnostics, performance data, device model, operating system version, app version, browser details, and security logs.
We may collect support and communication data when you contact us, including your message, email address, and attachments you choose to send.
We may collect purchase and subscription records needed to confirm billing status, entitlement state, refund routing, and fraud prevention.
When a feature needs access to content on your device, we collect or process only the content that you explicitly choose to provide, such as photos, files, or camera input. Many browser-first tools on cleanor.app process files locally in your browser and do not upload the source file to our servers.
4. Google user data
If you choose Google Sign-In on cleanor.app or another covered surface, we may receive basic Google account data such as your name, email address, profile image, Google account identifier, and the authentication tokens or metadata needed to complete sign-in and keep your session working.
Unless we explicitly ask for additional Google permissions and you grant them, we do not access your Gmail messages, Google Drive files, Google Calendar data, Google Photos library, Google Contacts, or other Google account content.
If we later add a feature that requests additional Google scopes, we will ask for separate consent at that time, limit access to the data needed for that user-facing feature, update this Privacy Policy, and provide updated in-product privacy notices where required.
5. How we use data
We use personal data to provide the apps, website, and account features you request.
We use sign-in and account data to authenticate users, keep accounts secure, restore access, and manage saved settings, favorites, purchases, or entitlements.
We use app, website, and diagnostic data to maintain performance, fix bugs, prevent abuse, improve reliability, and understand aggregate product usage.
We use support data to answer questions, investigate reported issues, and provide customer service.
We use purchase and subscription records to confirm whether access has been granted through our website checkout, the App Store, or Google Play.
We do not use Google user data for targeted advertising, data brokerage, interest-based profiling, creditworthiness, lending, or training general-purpose AI models.
6. Payments, subscriptions, and refunds
For iOS apps, in-app purchases and subscriptions are processed by Apple through the App Store. For Android apps, in-app purchases and subscriptions are processed by Google through Google Play.
When you purchase directly on cleanor.app, website checkout and billing may be processed by our website payment providers. We do not process or store your full payment card details ourselves.
For purchases made directly on cleanor.app, billing questions and refund requests should be sent to support@cleanor.app.
For purchases made in the App Store or Google Play, refunds and store-managed billing issues must be handled through Apple or Google support because we cannot directly reverse store-managed purchases.
7. Sharing and disclosure
We may share data with service providers that help us operate our website, apps, authentication, analytics, diagnostics, hosting, customer support, and billing workflows, subject to confidentiality and data-processing obligations.
We may share limited records with Apple and Google when needed for app distribution, store purchases, subscription validation, platform compliance, fraud prevention, or support routing.
We may share data when required by law, regulation, court order, or to protect the rights, safety, and security of our users, services, and organization.
We do not sell personal data. We do not sell Google user data. We do not disclose Google user data to third parties except as needed to provide or improve the user-facing functionality you requested, meet legal obligations, or protect our services.
8. Storage, retention, and deletion
We keep account and authentication data while your account remains active and for a limited period afterward when reasonably needed for security, fraud prevention, dispute handling, legal compliance, or account recovery.
We keep analytics, diagnostics, and operational logs only for as long as reasonably needed for troubleshooting, security, service improvement, or legal obligations, after which they are deleted, de-identified, or aggregated.
If a browser-first tool runs locally and does not upload the file to our servers, we do not retain that source file on our servers.
You may request deletion of your account-related personal data by contacting support@cleanor.app. We may retain limited records where required for legal, security, fraud prevention, accounting, or store-subscription obligations.
9. Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect personal data against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction.
These safeguards may include access controls, encryption in transit, secure authentication flows, logging, and provider-level security controls.
No storage or transmission method is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
10. International transfers
Our service providers may process data in countries other than the one where you live. Where required, we rely on appropriate contractual, organizational, or legal safeguards for cross-border transfers.
11. Your rights and choices
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, or object to certain uses of your personal data, and to request a copy of certain data we hold about you.
You may also manage device-level permissions such as Photos, Camera, Files, or Notifications from your device settings.
To exercise a rights request or ask a privacy question, contact support@cleanor.app.
12. Children’s privacy
Our services are not intended for children under 13, or the minimum age required in the user’s jurisdiction. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children in violation of applicable law.
13. Changes to this policy
This Privacy Policy is current as of April 11, 2026.
If we materially change how we access, use, store, or share personal data or Google user data, we will update this page and provide notice in the app, website, or other in-product surfaces where required.
