How to use Concrete Calculator

What the tool does, how to run it, and what to expect from the result.

How this concrete calculator works

For a slab or footing, volume is length x width x depth. For a round column or post hole, volume is pi x radius squared x height. The bag count divides that volume by the bag's published yield (0.30, 0.45, or 0.60 cubic feet for a 40, 60, or 80 lb bag). Add 5-10% on top for spillage and an uneven subgrade.
