About this sleep cycle calculator
The Sleep Cycle Calculator helps you wake up at the end of a sleep cycle rather than in the middle of one, so you feel more refreshed. Enter a wake-up time to see suggested bedtimes, or a bedtime to see suggested wake times. Each suggestion is built from 90-minute cycles with about 15 minutes added to fall asleep, and the 5 to 6 cycle options (roughly 7.5 to 9 hours) are marked as recommended for most adults.
