How to test your reaction time
The test uses a colored box as the stimulus. You click to arm a round, the box turns red while a random delay of 1200 to 3800 milliseconds runs down, and then it flips to green. The clock starts at the exact moment the green state is set, and your reaction is the gap between that and your click.
Five rounds are recorded, and the panel shows your last time, your average, and your best.
- Click the blue box to arm the first round and put your hand on the mouse.
- Wait through the red state without clicking; clicking early voids the round.
- Click the instant the box turns green.
- Repeat for all five rounds; each result appears in the All rounds list.
- Read the average, not the best, and press Reset to run the five rounds again.
