AI Image Upscaler enlarges small images, such as old web photos, thumbnails, screenshots or low-resolution product shots, two or four times. It uses Swin2SR, an open-source super-resolution model trained on real photos that are blurry, noisy and JPEG-compressed, so instead of stretching pixels it rebuilds plausible edges and texture and cleans up compression blocks. The model runs in your browser, on the graphics chip when available, after a one-time ~50 MB download, so your image is never uploaded. Because the model is heavy, it works on images up to 768 px on devices with graphics acceleration and up to 320 px without; a typical small image takes under a minute. The comparison slider shows the AI result against an ordinary resize of the same size, so you can see exactly what it adds. If your photo is already large but blurry, use Unblur Image instead.
