Does this only support Etsy-specific sizes?
No. It uses the same core collage builder, but opens with Etsy-oriented defaults and copy. You can still switch layouts inside the editor.
Can I use it for handmade product storytelling panels?
Yes. That is one of the clearest use cases here: a few supporting images arranged into one cleaner Etsy-style showcase visual.
Is the collage generated locally?
Yes. The entire arrangement and export flow stays in the browser, and the saved file is rebuilt through canvas so common metadata is stripped on save.
Should a collage be my first Etsy photo?
No. Etsy shows a cropped thumbnail in search and category grids, and a multi-panel collage at thumbnail size is illegible. Lead with a single clean product shot and use a collage in a later slot.
What is a collage actually good for on an Etsy listing?
Showing several things at once that a shopper would otherwise have to scroll for: colourways side by side, what is included in a set, the item shown at scale, or a before and after for a restoration or customisation.
How many photos does the five-showcase layout use?
Five: one large hero panel on the left and four smaller panels stacked in two columns on the right, exported at 1600 x 1600. The six-grid layout uses six in a 3 x 2 arrangement at 1600 x 1200.
Can I write dimensions or care instructions on the panels?
Not with this tool. It composes photos, and the only text it can burn in is a before and after label. Put written detail in the listing description, or bake the text into the source image first.
Does Etsy allow collages in listing photos?
Yes. Etsy has no rule against composed images, unlike eBay's picture policy or Amazon's main-image rules. The constraint on Etsy is legibility in the thumbnail crop, not policy.
